Is there a #Fediverse software that supports *link sharing*? So I can have a post that is not public but I can share a secret link with trusted people who are not on Fedi?
Might be a partial solution to the “instead of Facebook to share life updates with friends and family we now just have multiple chat groups” problem.
@[email protected] @[email protected] Indeed, boundaries in bonfire differentiate between something being discoverable vs readable, allowing for "unlisted" content that can only be viewed by certain people and on the other hand "previewable" content that can be seen in feeds but not fully read. This is currently mostly low-level functionality so we'd be happy to co-design the UX with people who need these features and can also help test if/how they interoperate with other federated apps and how we can mitigate leaks...
