After hearing feedback from people struggling with #Mastodon’s layout and navigation for a long time I’m really looking forward to these changes. And I’m really impressed with the work @imanijoy has put into researching user needs with surveys, interviews, and round tables. I feel like the community has never been so represented in the design process before. The screenshots are marked “in progress” for a reason though—it’s a process.

Having some really frustrating problems with our postgres database for this mastodon instance. When running out database dump (backup) scripts we hit a fatal error relating to missing or corrupted toast values:
`Dumping the contents of table "status_edits" failed: ... ERROR: missing chunk number 0 for toast value 123456 in pg_toast_123456`
This happened before and I manually nulled out those values, but suddenly this week again a corruption. What should I check first?

Uni Milano has accepted Nour and will evacuate her in September if we can raise sufficient funds for her scholarship.
Last year, you made it possible for Joy to leave Gaza and continue her education. Please donate and help Nour and Joy study together in safety!
